Connect an assistant
Connect Claude to BillingMart
One address, one sign-in, and a list of permissions you tick yourself. There is no key to copy into a chat.

The steps
Claude on the web
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Paste https://api.billingmart.com/mcp as the connector’s address and add it.
- A BillingMart window opens. Sign in with the account you use for the console.
- If you belong to more than one business, pick the one to connect. Untick any permission you do not want to give, then choose Allow.
Claude Code
- Run the command below in a terminal.
- Sign in and choose the permissions in the BillingMart window that opens, as above.

What you will be asked
The window that opens is BillingMart’s, not the assistant’s. It is where you decide what the connection may see.
You tick the permissions
Connecting opens a BillingMart sign-in and a list of permissions, each with a checkbox. The assistant gets what you leave ticked and nothing more.
Customer contact details are off unless you tick them
Email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses are a separate permission, and it is the one box that starts unticked.
You can end it at any time
A connection is revoked in the console under Settings, Connected apps. The next call the assistant makes is refused.

Ask it for a draft
Once connected, describe a job and read the draft invoice it writes. Nothing is sent until you approve it.
