# Capture the work while it happens

Hours, expenses and miles logged during the month and billed onto an invoice exactly once — and receipts, bills and quotes read by the organizer and filed where they belong.

## Four kinds of record, one rule for billing them

Each amount is computed by the same rounding rule the invoice uses, so what you logged is what the line says.

### Time

Log whole minutes against a client with an hourly rate, or run the timer and stop it once. The rate is stored on the entry, so changing a preset later never re-prices logged work.

`minutes × hourly rate ÷ 60`

### Expenses

Record what was spent with its category, vendor and tax treatment, attach the receipt (image or PDF), and set a markup for rebilling. The expense keeps what was spent; the invoice line carries the marked-up amount.

`amount × (100% + markup)`

### Mileage

Trips in miles or kilometres to the thousandth, from and to, with a rate per unit that defaults from the business. Each trip keeps its own rate.

### Billed exactly once

Preview what is unbilled for a client, then bill it onto a new or existing draft in one step. Each record is marked billed in the same transaction, so a retry or a second click cannot bill it twice.
